VCardPulse (“VCardPulse”, “we”, “us”) at vcardpulse.com is operated by Social Mosquitoes, India. This policy explains what information we collect when you use VCardPulse, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address and a securely hashed password if you sign up with email.
• Google Sign-In — if you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares your name, email address, profile picture URL and a Google account ID with us. We use this only to create your account and log you in. We do not access your contacts, emails, files or any other Google data, and we never sell this information.
• Card content — the details you enter on your card (such as name, designation, company, phone, WhatsApp, email, website, address, social links and About text).
• Uploads — photos, logos, cover images and PDF catalogues you upload to your card.
• Payment information — when you renew a card, payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive the payment status, amount and Razorpay order/payment IDs. We do not receive or store your card number, UPI PIN, CVV or bank login details.
• Usage data — basic technical data such as card view counts and server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) used for security and reliability.

2. Public cards

VCardPulse cards are designed to be shared. Everything you add to a published card — including your photo, contact details and catalogue — is publicly visible to anyone with the link or QR code and may be indexed by search engines. Only add information you are comfortable making public. You can edit or delete your card at any time.

3. AI features (Google Gemini)

Optional AI features are powered by Google’s Gemini API:

• Write with AI — the name, designation, company, keywords, tone and language you provide are sent to Google to generate a short bio.
• Scan my old card — the photo of the paper visiting card you choose is sent to Google to extract contact details.
• AI suggest theme — your designation, company and About text are sent to Google to suggest a colour theme.

We send this data only when you click an AI button. We do not store scanned card images or AI requests; only the text you decide to keep on your card is saved. Google processes this data under the Gemini API Terms and Google Privacy Policy. We keep a simple daily count of AI uses per account to prevent abuse.

4. How we use your information

• To create and operate your account and publish your cards.
• To process renewals and show your card’s validity.
• To respond to support requests and send essential service messages.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers needed to run VCardPulse — our hosting provider (Hostinger) and its CDN, Google (Sign-In and Gemini AI, only when you use them) and Razorpay (payments) — or when required by law.

6. Cookies

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you logged in and to protect forms against misuse. It expires when you close your browser or log out. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and card data while your account exists. Expired cards are kept so you can renew them without losing data. You can delete any card from your dashboard at any time, which also deletes its uploaded files. To delete your account and all associated data, or to request a copy or correction of your data, email support@vcardpulse.com from your registered email address; we will complete the request within 30 days. Payment records may be retained where required by law.

8. Security

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, CSRF protection and restricted server folders to protect your data. No online service is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

9. Children

VCardPulse is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International users

VCardPulse is operated from India. By using the service you understand that your information is processed in India and by our providers in other countries.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, notify users on the website.
