How it works

  1. 1

    Create your digital card

Add your photo, details and links in a couple of minutes.

  2. 2

    Download your QR code

Every card gets its own QR code that always points to your latest details.

  3. 3

    Print or show it

Put the QR on paper cards, flyers, product packaging, your desk or your phone lock screen.

Why a QR code works better than printed details

Typing a phone number and email from a small printed card is slow and error-prone. With a QR code, the other person points their camera and your full card opens. From there they can call, message you on WhatsApp or tap Save Contact to add everything — including your photo — to their phone.

Because the QR code opens a web page, you can update your details without reprinting. The same printed QR keeps working after you change your number, title or address.

Where to use your QR code

  • On the back of your paper visiting cards
  • On flyers, brochures, menus and product packaging
  • On your shop counter, reception desk or exhibition stand
  • On the final slide of a presentation or webinar
  • On your phone screen at networking events

Tips for a QR code people actually scan

  • Print it large enough — at least 2–3 cm wide on cards, larger on posters.
  • Keep strong contrast: a dark code on a light background.
  • Add a short label such as "Scan to save my contact".
  • Test it with a couple of phones before printing in bulk.

More than a vCard QR code

A plain vCard QR code stores your contact in the code itself, so it cannot be updated and cannot show buttons, photos or links. A VCardPulse QR code opens your live digital card, which can also include your catalogue, UPI payment, social links and a Google review button. See the full list on the features page.

Want a QR code just for collecting reviews? Use a Google review QR code instead.

QR codes for teams and events

If you run a team, each member can have their own card and QR code, so prospects always reach the right person. At trade shows and exhibitions, print one large QR code on your stand and smaller codes on handouts — visitors scan, save and leave without collecting stacks of paper. After the event, you can update every card with new offers or contact details while the printed codes keep working. For conferences and webinars, put your QR code on the closing slide and leave it on screen during questions, so attendees can save your details while they listen.

Frequently asked questions

How does a QR code business card work?

The QR code contains the link to your digital card. When someone scans it with their phone camera, your card opens in the browser and they can call, message or save your contact.

Will the QR code change if I edit my card?

No. The QR code points to your card link, so it keeps working after you update your details.

Do people need a QR scanner app?

No. Most modern iPhone and Android cameras scan QR codes directly.

Can I put the QR code on my existing paper cards?

Yes. Print it on new cards, or add it as a sticker to the cards you already have.

What size should I print the QR code?

On business cards, around 2–3 cm wide usually scans well. Use larger codes for posters or counter stands, and always test before printing many copies.
